Level 3 Emergency Medical Gases Course Prerequisites
To enroll in this qualification, learners must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum age requirement: Learners must be at least 16 years old on the first day of training.
- Prerequisite qualifications: Before registering for this qualification, learners must have successfully completed a Level 3 First Aid at Work (FAW) or an equivalent qualification recognised by QA. Additionally, learners should possess knowledge or awareness of an automated external defibrillator (AED), unless it is already incorporated into the FAW qualification.
- Formal entry requirements: Apart from the aforementioned prerequisites, there are no other formal entry requirements. However, to fully benefit from the learning experience, it is advised that learners have a minimum Level 2 proficiency in literacy or an equivalent qualification, as well as a basic understanding of first aid.
