Why Manual Handling Training is Important
Manual handling injuries are a major concern in the workplace, and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has long recognised the risks involved. Under the Manual Handling Operations Regulations, employers are legally required to provide appropriate health and safety training to prevent such injuries. This course not only meets these HSE requirements but also promotes best practices to ensure safety in any environment.
Course Benefits
By the end of this training, participants will be able to confidently assess and manage manual handling risks, use the correct equipment, and apply proper techniques to minimise strain and injury. This course is ideal for ensuring compliance with legal requirements and promoting a safer working environment for all staff.
Whether you're looking to reduce the risk of injury or ensure legal compliance, the Nuco Accredited Level 2 Award in Manual Handling Training is an invaluable investment in workplace safety.

As an employer, you must protect your workers from the risk of injury and ill health from hazardous manual handling tasks in the workplace. Manual handling means transporting or supporting a load by hand or bodily force. It includes lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, moving or carrying a load. A load is a moveable object, such as a box or package, a person or an animal, or something being pushed or pulled, such as a roll cage or pallet truck.
